Obsessed with this place! Amazing amenities, clean and gorgeous rooms, comfy bed. The new 2 bedroom reminds me of a Slim Aarons print. Beautiful and can’t wait to come back.

Great customer service. So welcoming and friendly. Everywhere but the pool was also dog friendly. Our room was stylish, clean and comfy. Amazing views, great facilities and a lovely lounge with honesty bar and brekky options. Will be back!!

A Perfect Blend of Heritage Charm and Modern Comfort! ​We had a fantastic stay at Hillcrest Merimbula. The way they have restored the building is impressive—the combination of exposed brick and timber creates a warm, stylish, and contemporary atmosphere. The panoramic views of the town and the ocean are simply breathtaking. ​Facilities: The property is well-equipped with on-site parking, a tennis court, and a lovely swimming pool. ​Service: The lady at the reception (from Argentina) was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She gave us excellent local recommendations on where to go in Merimbula. ​Pet-Friendly,breakfast is available for an additional fee, which we found very convenient.

Aces all round, without even stepping on the tennis court. The views, amenities and ample grounds give the property a resort-like feel and it proved an excellent choice for a sapphire coast 'staycation'; two hrs from home. Lovely welcome from Valerie who showed me to my room and encouraged me to make myself at home in the lounge, which immediately enveloped me with wraparound views and holiday vibes. With plenty of active options to tempt, I was nonetheless happy to chill in the lounge over a Pinot noir and in my room (standard King),which had really good lighting and a sunsoaked morning aspect. Next stay I'm heading for the pool!

What a fantastic experience from the staff on arrival, beautifully furnished rooms and common areas, to the amenities available to guests at The Hillcrest. I’ll definitely be returning next month. Very excited about the two (2) bedroom apartment that is set to open. It looks amazing! 🤩 Could not recommend more highly - 5 stars!

A gorgeous location with fantastic amenities and activities, including a pool, a fire pit, a tennis court, a swing and a paid spa. Staff were engaging and welcoming, with a beautiful view overlooking the town and sea. The rooms were clean with a vintage motel feel. The room did run cold and certain parts did feel dated including the bathroom and fridge. Spoke to the owner and he mentioned an ongoing renovation so can’t wait to see what this beautiful spot turns into. If you want an affordable stay for either a romantic getaway or family holiday to Merimbula, you wont regret staying at the Hillcrest.
